Byråkrat. was created and is administered by Martin Roos. Martin played guitar in kent between 1991 and 1995 and was also their manager for 15 years. Nowadays, Martin works as a leader within the Norrköping Municipality Group. The creation of Byråkrat. stems from an idea to produce instrumental music for the office. Or if you prefer – Muzak for the solitary bureaucrat.

The self-titled album Byråkrat. was released on April 1, 2018, and the music was described by Jan Gradvall in DI Weekend as: “...instrumental, guitar-driven, suggestive and beautiful, imbued with a rain-cloud gray melancholy...”
